Markus Kuhl joined GF Machining Solutions AG in 2011 as Chief Procurement Officer. He studied Macro-Economics, Logistics & Logistical Informatics and Marketing at the University of Bamberg, DE. He graduated with Suma Cum Laudat as an Economist.
After gaining experience in Malaysia, Taiwan, Austria and Germany, where he worked in various management positions, he came to Switzerland. Markus is married and has two children.

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., November 4, 2019 – Broadening their presence in Canada, GF Machining Solutions and GF Piping Systems will open a new joint headquarters to further strengthen direct sales and service support for Canadian manufacturers. The companies broke ground for the 67,000-square-foot facility located in Ontario, in late October of this year.
The new Canadian headquarters will feature a 4,800-square-foot demonstration center along with full sales and service support staff that will ensure high responsiveness and application expertise. Also serving as a distribution center, the facility will streamline the sales and acquisition process for customers as well as help shorten delivery times.
“Investing domestically in Canada and improving upon our local services will further enhance both GF Machining Solutions’ and GF Piping Systems’ abilities to serve the Canadian market,” said Philipp Hauser, president – head of market region North and Central America for GF Machining Solutions. “Manufacturers in this region have come to know and understand the quality, strength and reliability of the GF brand, and this new facility will provide easy, localized access to our full range of manufacturing technologies.”
The joint GF Canadian Headquarters will be located at 41 Keyes Court, Unit 1, Vaughan, Ontario, L4H 2YZ Canada. According to John Giroux, country manager, Georg Fischer Piping Systems Ltd., Canada, the new GF facility will significantly benefit Canadian piping customers in terms of support and product availability.
“With the new facility, we will expand our warehouse space and inventory by 100 percent for even more availability of and access to all GF Piping Systems products, both industrial and utility,” said Giroux. “To further support Canadian customer needs, there will also be an expanded custom fabrication area along with clean room and header capability up to 24” diameters.”

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., November 7, 2019 – GF Machining Solutions and GF Piping Systems are further enhancing their direct sales and service support to customers in Mexico with the opening of a new Nuevo Leon joint headquarters. In late October of this year, the companies conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for the 75,000-square-foot facility.
With a state-of-the-art showroom and expansive inventory space, the new headquarters will house a full sales and service support staff that will ensure high responsiveness and application expertise. To help streamline the sales process and shorten delivery times for customers, the facility will also serve as a strategically located central distribution center for Mexico.
“Our expanded presence in Mexico will further reinforce the existing knowledge and understanding Mexican manufacturers have of GF’s broad range of highquality and reliable manufacturing and piping technologies,” said Philipp Hauser, president – head of market region North and Central America for GF Machining Solutions. “Those customers will also benefit from the new facility, especially in terms of fast and proactive sales and applications service and support.”
The GF Machining Solutions Mexican Headquarters will be located at Av. Industrias 110, Parque Industrial PIMSA Oriente, Apodaca, Nuevo Leon CP 66603 Mexico.
