New scan head for laser marking
A scan head with a 14-mm entrance aperture is the latest addition to SCANLAB’s basiCube series. Labeling and marking applications that require higher precision and smaller spot sizes will particularly benefit.
With the basiCube 14, another compact high quality entry-level scan head with superior cost-effectiveness is now available. Moreover, its 600 cps writing speed guarantees exceptional dynamic performance.
More Precision for Additive Manufacturing: New digital-encoder-equipped 2D scan heads for larger working volumes
The soon available intelliSCANse 20 and 30 scan heads are systems with 20 and 30-mm apertures for a larger working field. Their integrated digital encoder technology ensures highest dynamics along with high resolution and best long-term stability. Precisely these factors make the systems especially interesting for demanding applications such as 3D printing, micro-structuring and micro-processing. And an attractive price/performance ratio underscores the systems' suitability for efficient industrial usage.
precSYS enables laser micro processing and drilling of flexibly variable geometries as well as laser cutting and structuring. Designed for ultra-short-pulse (USP) lasers, precSYS's bore holes and cutting edges are exceptionally clean cut and don't require post-processing.

The new RTC6 control board enables powerful applications and is ready for future functional extensions, because it is equipped with expanded memory and a high-performance DSP and FPGA. Optionally very high pixel frequencies up to 3.2 MHz can be achieved.
When synchronously controlling the excelliSCAN scan system and a laser, the RTC6 takes into account the SCANahead control's lookahead time (used for computing scanner trajectories) so as to optimally utilize dynamic performance and accuracy.
The RTC6's auto-delay functionality facilitates simple, fast excelliSCAN deployment. This frees users from needing to determine or define laser and scanner delays.
Complete incorporation of all RTC5 functions ensures quick and easy migration to the new RTC6 board – also for customers who previously had an RTC5 board in use.
