Integrated Fiber Optics has developed and now produces novel design of efficient and ultra-stable optical frequency doubling (second harmonic) modules for high-average-power and broad-spectrum radiation applications. The second harmonic modules are ideal choice for optical frequency doubling of high-pulse-energy fibers lasers and particularly attractive for industrial applications. These modules are based on LBO nonlinear crystals.
Integrated Fiber Optics developed and offers ultra-short optical pulse high power lasers up to 100 W and 1 mJ based on novel patented optical pulse fiber generator technology. Main advantages provided by this technology are high stability of laser parameters, high reliability and long life-time without need for maintenance. These properties are particularly attractive for industrial applications. Moreover, our developed technology is very flexible and allows achieving of different pulse parameters which could be required for specific customer applications.
ntegrated Fiber Optics also offers stand-alone version of patented ultra-short optical pulse fiber generator-oscillator1, which is ideal for fiber MOPA (master oscillator power amplifier) seeding and industrial application where reliability, durability and long life-time are essential. Generator does not contain any critical components such as SESAM and so its life-time mainly depends on life-time of a pump diode laser. Generator can operate under normal, zero and anomalous dispersion conditions.
1. Matched pair of chirped volume Brag gratings (CVBG): one grating is fiber coupled CVBG in adjustable thermal gradient mount and another is CVBG for pulse compression with standard mounting option.
The matched pair is measured for optimal compression by using a femtosecond laser and pulse autocorrelator. The resulting autocorrelation trace is provided for customer as a reference point on what is achievable, with each particular CVBG pair. Also beam ellipticity and M2 measurements are performed according to ISO standards.
The residual (stretcher - compressor) dispersion (GVD) tuning range for this product is specified as GVDtuning = (+/-1.5ps^2), which can be used by the customer as either dispersion compensation of the components in the laser system (tuning range corresponds to about +/-70m of standard optical fiber) or pulse duration control (400fs..10ps for maximally filed CVBG)
2.Matched pair of CVBs: one grating is fiber coupled CVBG with adjustable thermal gradient, and another is CVBG for pulse compression with thermally managed mechanical mount.
The same as above, except that GVD tuning range is +/-3ps^2 and pulse duration up to 20ps. This option also solves customer’s problem with mechanical mounting of the CVBG compressor and its heat management due to large laser thermal load.
3.The same as above, but with possibility of adjusting higher order dispersion, by nonlinear thermal gradient. Especially interesting for large bandwidth (>20nm) CVBGs.
